Hi. Thanks for this- it is really helpful. I am very anxious about my AS RS students this year doing both exams at once. My biggest issue has been bringing their literacy skills up to scratch as the leap from GCSE structured questions to what is basically 4 long essays in the AS exam is so great. how do you do this? also -what Board and Papers do you do?

Unfortunately this isn’t referring to RS A level as I don’t teach it.
However the principle is the same. If this works I would teach for essay 1 and practice, then teach for essay 2 whilst hw is doing essay 1. Move to essay 3 teaching and hw is essay 1&2 etc etc
You just need to decide what order to teach them.
